Sharon is the firm’s transplant from the Midwest who has a concentration in state and local taxation issues. She provides expert accounting services to corporations, partnerships/LLCs, not for-profit organizations, and individuals. Her focus also includes U.S. reporting of foreign business and investment activity. She joined BHCB in 2006 following four years as Accounting Manager at a privately-held business, and became a Partner in January 2016. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). In 1998, Sharon graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with degrees in Library Science and Biology, obtaining her accounting education at Golden Gate University and University of San Francisco. Sharon is based out of the firm’s New Haven office. She lives with her husband and two children in the Spring Glen neighborhood of Hamden, where she also serves on the board of Community Investment Corporation, an economic development lender. Sharon enjoys cooking and relaxing with family and loves to curl up on the couch with a good book.
Dennis is the Managing Partner of BHCB. He provides tax, accounting and auditing services for the firm.

Jay has been with the firm since 2003 and became a partner in January 2015. He specializes in accounting and auditing and has expertise in not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, professional services organizations, manufacturing and continuing care retirement communities.
