Dennis is the Managing Partner of Beers, Hamerman, Cohen & Burger, P.C. (BHCB), providing tax and accounting services with a focus on both personal and business taxation, including multi-state returns. He joined the firm in 1994, became a Partner in January 2010, and is a graduate of Villanova University (May 1992).

Dennis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). He has served in a variety of leadership positions throughout his career, including President of the CTCPA, Treasurer of the Guilford Chapter of Rotary International, Treasurer of the Madison Jaycees Foundation, and Vice President of the SARAH Foundation.

In recognition of his contributions to the profession, Dennis received the CTCPA’s Member of the Year award (Jack Brooks Award) for the 2013–2014 year. In 2025, Dennis was named to Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Best-in-State CPAs—one of just 13 CPAs recognized in Connecticut—for his commitment to client service, professional excellence, and industry leadership.
