He serves clients across a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, medical, and real estate sectors, and also provides individual tax preparation and planning services. Christopher earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac University and his Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Hartford. He currently serves on the Accounting Advisory Council for Quinnipiac University’s accounting department, is a member of the Walter Camp Football Foundation, and holds membership in the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA).

Jonathan Priebe, CPA, with nearly 25 years of experience in public accounting, specializes in tax compliance, planning, advising, and consulting. He works directly with business owners and management to ensure thorough compliance with both federal and state tax codes. Jonathan’s expertise spans diverse industries, including manufacturing, medical, dental, and labor unions. In addition to his extensive work with businesses, he excels in individual tax preparation and planning, offering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of his clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quinnipiac University. With a robust background and a dedication to excellence, Jonathan is a trusted advisor in the realm of tax accounting, providing invaluable support and guidance to his clients.

Rosemary McGovern, CPA, has been with the firm since 1997, focusing primarily on federal taxation with an emphasis on foreign and international issues. She previously worked as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service before transitioning to public accounting after taking a break from her professional career to raise a family. Rosemary is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and has twice served as the chairperson of the organization’s Federal Income Tax Committee. She has also served on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven, holding the position of Treasurer for several years, and is currently on the organization’s Finance Committee. In her personal time, Rosemary enjoys live music, reading, bike-riding, and spending time with her granddaughters.

Anita Unger, CPA, serves as a Senior Tax Manager at Beers, Hamerman, Cohen & Burger P.C. She joined the firm in 2007 and brings thirty years of experience to her role. Anita’s expertise is concentrated in business tax preparation, planning, compliance, and research. Her work also encompasses individual tax preparation and planning. She manages a diverse client base that includes manufacturers, medical practices, and service companies, many of which have complex tax situations requiring multi-state filings. Anita currently leads the firm’s international reporting group and has previously led the state and local income tax group. She prides herself on developing a thorough understanding of each client’s entities and maintaining consistent contact throughout the year to address their needs in a timely manner. Anita is a graduate of Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). Outside of her professional work, she is an advocate and fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and participates annually in their Cycle for Life event. In her leisure time, Anita enjoys hiking and outdoor activities with her dog, as well as reading, cooking, and knitting on rainy days.
